What is the GRE Exam?

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is an important step in the graduate school application process. It is a computer-based, multiple-choice standardized exam often required for admission to graduate programmes and MBA programmes globally.

It measures the Verbal, Mathematical, and Analytical Writing skills of candidates. The US-based Educational Testing Service (ETS), under the direction of the Graduate Record Examination Board, develops and administers the GRE.

Since GRE is computer-adaptive, no two students get an identical set of questions. The test is scored on a maximum range of 340. A good GRE score improves your chances of admission and financial aid — however, it is just one of many factors the admissions council considers.

My English/Math is very poor. Will I get a decent score?
