What is GRE exam
Graduate Record Examination, or GRE, is an important step in the graduate school application process. It is a computer-based multiple-choice standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate programs and graduate business programs (MBA) globally.
It measures the Verbal, Mathematical, and Analytical Writing skills of candidates desiring to undergo their Graduate studies abroad as most universities within the US invite GRE scores while inviting applications from prospective students. The US-based “Educational Testing Service” (ETS) works under the direct of the Graduate Record Examination Board. It is responsible to develop and administers the GRE.
GRE being a Computer-based Test no two students get an identical set of questions. The test is scored in a maximum range of 340. GRE exam alone cannot guarantee you admission to your desired graduate school. It is just only one of the major factors taken into consideration.
