The Analytical Writing section will always be first. The Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning
and unidentified/unscored sections may appear in any order; therefore, you should treat each section as if it counts toward your score
The Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections in the test are designed to be adaptive at the section level. In both the Verbal and Quantitative sections, the first section starts with questions of average difficulty. The difficulty level of the second section, however, is determined by your performance in the first section.
To elaborate, if you excel in the first Quantitative Reasoning section, the second section of Quantitative Reasoning will present more challenging questions. The scoring for both Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning takes into account the total number of correct answers across both sections, as well as the difficulty levels of the respective sections. Your overall performance in these sections is evaluated based on this adaptive approach.
